Funds raised form the plant sales help to maintain the Old Police Station into the future and Projects and Activities in the Botanic Gardens.
Clean second hand pots are most welcome.
Scotsburn Fire Recovery
Flemings Nurseries donated some miniature Peach Trees
Ballarat West Rotary Group donated funds to buy plants/trees for families who have lost their gardens and shelter trees to the fire. THey also donated potting mixture.
Many Friends donated plant material.
On Monday 15th August 2016, Jan Antosiewicz, Dot Carpenter, and Lyn Robilliard from the Ballarat Club of Soroptomist International were hosted by Judith Bailey FBBG (L-R) at the Old Police Station to hand over their cheque for $200 in support of the bushfire potting project. These funds gave seed funding to start our potting up of plant material.
The Soroptomist’s were delighted at being able to contribute to this community effort, our thanks to the Soroptomist’s for their support.
